Oil drilling is a complex process carried out to extract oil from the Earth once it has been located. The process begins with the drilling of a surface hole to reach the pre-set depth. After that, they must put pipe sections into the hole. This has the purpose of avoiding possible collapses. After running and cementing new casings, they drill again to reach the final depth.
