AECsoft USA Creates PI Confluence Business Unit


(PRWEB) November 12, 2005 -- Houston based, AECsoft USA, Inc. (AECsoft) announced today that it has formed a new business unit to manage the commercialization of their Integrity Compliance Activity Manager (ICAM) platform.

The ICAM platform, which was developed in collaboration with Panhandle Energy and funded through a DOT grant; is a robust, yet configurable web based application specifically designed to manage the “Who, What, When, Where and Why Not’s” of pipeline integrity. ICAM's core component tracks the Implementation & Documentation of Integrity Activities while ancillary modules include a complete Management of Change functionality, a GAP Analysis function to manage protocol compliance and an in depth Performance Evaluation component to ensure continuous improvement.

Gary R. White, formerly the Director of Pipeline Integrity Development for AECsoft will serve as the President and CEO of the newly formed PI Confluence. PI Confluence will commercialize the ICAM platform within the Gas Transmission pipeline industry and will follow with modifications to address the Gas Distribution industry in 2006.

AECsoft was formed in 1997 and is a certified Minority Women Owned Business that was primarily involved in the development of their core web based applications which manage suppliers and supplier diversity programs until joined by Mr. White in 2003. AECsoft currently utilizes over 20 developers and provides development services to companies such as "The Coca-Cola Company, Nike, Time Warner, Ernst & Young, Schlumberger, FedEx, the MGM MIRAGE..."
