K&A Wireless Introduces a New Concept in Security and Surveillance

Direct mobile videocasting allows wireless video information to be obtained from anywhere, relayed and sent across an intranet or Internet to tap the expertise of a remote individual. Ideal applications include security teams, first responders, perimeter security, inspectors, military and law enforcement.

Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) September 11, 2005 -- K&A Wireless, LLC announces a new wireless concept in security and surveillance, called direct mobile videocasting.

In the Post-9/11 world, imagine if you could take your security expert and have them available to anybody, anytime, anywhere in the world. Direct mobile videocasting utilizes proven wireless technology to aid in transferring video information from anywhere, to anywhere. The video can be easily relayed and sent across an intranet or internet to allow your experts to interact with the players in the field.

Utilizing NET-View and EYE-View product solutions, the video becomes a clean usable image ideal for security teams, first responders, perimeter security teams, inspectors, and military and law enforcement officials.

The operator uses a mobile camera unit (MCU) to transmit video images across the internet to a remote expert. The remote expert can then provide direct feedback, through a cellular phone, walkie-talkie or radio, to the operator to insure they have the required information to make an informed decision.

The wireless video camera can also be thermal, handheld or hands-free, or even as simple as a camcorder. Direct mobile videocasting can either be used in conjunction with conventional closed-circuit TV (CCTV) systems, or as a stand-alone system.

The system is being introduced and demonstrated at the ASIS International annual seminar and exhibit in Orlando, Florida the week of the 12th of September 2005. Contact K&A with your specific application and requirements.
