Safety Managers Get Back Time to do Their Real Job

Old Saybrook, CT (PRWEB) November 1, 2005 -- Safety managers have a difficult challenge finding the time to train employees to work safely, avoid OSHA compliance problems, and submit all required illness and injury reporting. To help make safety training and compliance easier, Business & Legal Reports, Inc. (BLR) has just added a suite of powerful new applications to its popular safety training and compliance website,

The My Safety Manager applications were developed in partnership with the groundbreaking software producer, CompliPOINT. These tools help simplify training administration and injury reporting. The new functionality helps managers gain the time to do their real job – keeping workers safe.

Illness & Injury Tracking – and more
The “Illness and Injury Center” helps managers easily record incidents as they happen, with on-demand production of completed OSHA Forms 301 or 300. The “Training Center” module lets OSHA managers plan training by location and department. It schedules instructors and classes; it also issues e-mail training reminders, reports, and training certificates as needed. The “Assessment Center” features a huge library of BLR checklists, which can be easily customized for facility audits. Missing critical dates will be a thing of the past thanks to the “Employee Location Center”; which, combined with a Calendar function, provides the ability to remind managers about compliance permits, licenses, and events.

Bob Brady, President of BLR, commented on the new software tools: “The CompliPOINT suite of software applications is very impressive. We knew immediately that these new tools, which help our customers effortlessly manage important components of safety administration, would make much more useful.”
