Troux Ranks Third Nationally Among Rising Stars on Deloitte Fast 500 Roster for 2005

Attributes 4,198% revenue growth to corporate and government demand for IT Visibility and Decision Support.

Austin, TX (PRWEB) October 19, 2005 -- Troux Technologies, the global leader in IT Governance and Enterprise Architecture (EA) solutions, earned the number-three spot on Deloitte’s Fast 500 Rising Star list released today along with the complete Deloitte Fast 500 ranking. Troux Technologies is the only Austin company named a Rising Star.

The Deloitte Fast 500 acknowledges the fastest growing technology companies in North America that have been in business for more than five years. A special category, the Rising Star list, recognizes 25 accelerated growth companies that have been in business for less than five years and are on track to join the Fast 500. Deloitte ranks Rising Stars on percentage revenue growth over three years (2002 to 2004).

“We are honored to be recognized as a 2005 Deloitte (Fast 500) Rising Star. Our customers are large, global organizations who digested impressive amounts of technology over decades, either through purchase or through acquisitions. Abundant IT spending in the dot.com boom, often siloed in business units, compounded by the challenging IT redundancies in the merger and acquisition period following the dot.com bust, created complex and interrelated IT ecosystems. They lack the agility necessary to drive initiatives that will transform the business,” said Hank Weghorst, Troux’s CEO.

“In today’s era of cost containment, regulatory pressures, and the need to derive value from every single asset successful organizations are retrenching. Troux’s IT Governance applications and Enterprise Architecture solutions provide the foundation to enable visibility throughout the IT ecosystem to support the vital decisions that will transform the business,” Weghorst said.

“Attracting enough customers to attain such fast growth over five years makes a strong statement about the quality of a company’s product and its leadership,” said Tony Kern, deputy national managing principal of Deloitte’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications industry practice. “Troux has shown the right stuff for growth.”

Rising Star Qualifications
To qualify as a Fast 500 Rising Star, entrants must have had 2002 operating revenues of at least $50,000 USD or $75,000 CD, for the United States and Canada, respectively, and 2004 operating revenues of at least $1 million USD or CD.

Entrants must be headquartered in North America, and be a “technology company,” defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies’ technology in a unique way does not qualify. For more information on the Deloitte Rising Stars and Fast 500, visit: Deloitte.
